Dr. Erik Ladner

Erik Ladner's involvement with IWLA began in 1995 while he was a Masters student at the University of Northern Iowa.  He has been a presenter at the conference.

He later went on to pursue his Ph.D. in Hispanic Literature from the University of Texas at Austin. After a five year absence, he returned to Iowa in 2004 as a Lecturer of Spanish at Iowa State University, where he taught until 2007.

Currently, Dr. Ladner is an Assistant Professor of Spanish at Central College in Pella, specializing in Spanish Peninsular Literature. Among his current activities, he is in the process of obtaining OPI certification and writing a textbook for third-year college Spanish.
